Message 1. How did you accept money?

PayPal or money order, cash in person.
Always save & provide tracking/proof of shipment against PP payments

2. Shipping.
I have shipped everything. It takes, time, access to packing materials (which are not cheap if you have to buy them) and motivation.

Did you end up spending considerably more TIME on the part out then you anticipated?
YES

Did it take considerably more space then you envisioned?
YES

Did it take you longer to sell off most of the car then you envisioned?
YES

Did you make what you thought/hoped on the bits?
More or less, sometimes things sell well, sometimes you sit on them for a long time. You always throw something away, and a week later 2 people ask you for it.

For you the danger is selling a few bits that imobilize the car - then you have a big paper weight on your hands.

My advice is you sell the interesting mods and then you sell a running / whole car. For the average person (w. 2 kids esp.) thats a faster / easier process for pretty good returns.

A parted down car takes up 2 to 3 times the room as one assembled and picking as you go is a waste of time too.
